Healthier Sugar Cookies
INGREDIENTS
COOKIE
1/4 cup softened butter
1/3 cup coconut sugar
1 T milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
GLAZE
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 T milk
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix wet ingredients: softened butter and sugar then add in milk, egg, and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients: add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mix wet and dry ingredients together and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough and cut into favorite shapes. Cook for 8-10 minutes
Combine powdered sugar and milk and top cookies once they have cooled. Serve and enjoy!
