Easy Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan
INGREDIENTS
2 chicken breasts
15 crackers (any kind- I used whole wheat Club Crackers)
1 egg
A sprinkle of mozzarella
A sprinkle of parmesan
Pasta sauce
Any type of noodle
DIRECTIONS
Cut chicken breasts in half so you have 4 thin pieces of chicken (option to season lightly with salt/pepper/garlic powder)
Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees for 5 minutes
Crack an egg in a flat bowl or plate and whisk
Crush crackers in a large gallon size bag until they are broken down into small breadcrumb sized bits. Pour into a different flat bowl or plate
Dip chicken first in the egg on both sides and then the cracker crumbs on both sides
Put the prepared chicken into the air fryer in one single layer for about 15 minutes or until the chicken in cooked through
Add a sprinkle of mozzarella and parmesan and melt for 2-3 more minutes in the air fryer
Serve diced into bite sized pieces with cooked pasta (mixed with pasta sauce) and a drizzle of pasta sauce on top of the chicken
