5 Ingredient Peanut Butter Bites

INGREDIENTS

Base

  • 12 medjool dates (make sure to take pits out)

  • 1/3 cup peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter of choice)

  • 1 TB almond flour (or any flour of choice)

Frosting

  • 2 TB coconut oil

  • 3 TB maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter of choice)

DIRECTIONS

  • Start by taking the pits out of all of the dates and then add the dates to a food processor

  • Add peanut butter and almond flour and blend until mixture appears to be crumbly

  • Spray an 8x8 pan and add mixture to the pan. Press down into a thin layer across the entire pan with a spatula or using your fingers

  • Next prepare the frosting: Add coconut oil, maple syrup, and peanut butter to a microwave safe dish and microwave for 30 seconds. Mix until smooth (microwave for longer if needed)

  • Drizzle the frosting over the base and spread evenly in the pan

  • Place into the refrigerator for an hour to set up. Take out and cut into bite sized pieces. KEEP THIS RECIPE STORED IN THE REFRIGERATOR OR FREEZER
